Teresa Marqués-Aguado has been a Lecturer at Department of English of the University of Murcia since 2009, where she teaches English Language. From 2004 to 2008, she held a Research Fellowship at the University of Málaga (Department of English), where she taught Technical English (undergraduate courses at the School of Engineering). In 2008, she completed her PhD Thesis (European Doctorate) on the edition and study of a late Middle English scientific treatise (Glasgow University Library, MS Hunter 513 [ff.37v-96v]). She has also been a Research Visitor at the Department of English Language of the University of Glasgow.

Her research interests include Historical Linguistics, Codicology, Palaeography and Manuscript Studies. She is currently involved in several research projects consisting on the electronic edition of the late Middle English Fachprosa belonging to the Hunterian collection housed in Glasgow University Library. She is particularly interested in the different versions of the Antidotary, which are also the input for the compilation of an annotated corpus of late Middle English unedited material.
